Victory!!

For the third time in our last three tournaments, a first timer playing in the 607 Poker League has taken down an event. Mike Ma. managed to outlast a field of 40 players and 9 rebuys to win Event #7! Mike got out to a hot start early and managed to navigate several ups and downs, including a tough final table to post his first victory and take home $1200! Dan Ra. (Windsor, NY) took second place for his first cash in only two Fall Season events. Winner of Event #5, Sharon Va. had another strong showing, finishing in third. The rest of the players finishing in the money at Event #7 include fourth place finisher Bob Si., newcomer Steve Se. in fifth place and Rob McL. securing sixth place.

For the Season Points Leaderboard, Stevie Jo. (Johnson City, NY) held onto a slim lead to lock up first place. Kevin Du., finished on the bubble of Event #7, barely missing a chance to move into first place but secured second place overall despite only playing in 4 events this season. Sharon Va., after playing only three events this season, used her third place finish in Event #7 to vault into third place. Event #3 winner Justin Pi. finished 4th overall and two early season finishes deep in the money helped Rooster finish 5th overall. Event #4 winner Whitey was able to hold onto 6th place. These 6 finishers won $1,735 for their top-notch performances in our inaugural season.
