Sharon For the Win!!

Event #5 drew our biggest crowd of the season. With 48 players and 10 rebuys, we also had our biggest prize pool of the season. Chips were flying all night but after a long heads up battle, Sharon Va. emerged victorious! Even though this was her first event of the season, the win vaulted Sharon into 8th place on the Season Points Leaderboard. League veteran Jason Mu. from Endwell, NY took down second place, moving into 6th place on the Season Points Leaderboard. Sarah Ca. from Ithaca, NY was able to secure third place and 200 points to move into 10th place on the Season Points Leaderboard. Newcomer Hawk worked his way into 4th place, outlasting Kevin Du. that secured his second cash in the two events he has played. Another newcomer, Jordan Ba. was our 6th place finisher, taking home some well earned cash.

Stevie Jo. remains the leader on the Season Points Leaderboard but the challengers are closing the gap and with two events left with growing field sizes, this lead is not safe! We will be back at it in two weeks so join us on November 16th for Event #6, a $60 buy-in tournament!!
