For one night anyway.

Our Fall 2024 Championship Event had 26 qualifiers and all 26 showed up for a $100 buy-in tournament with an additional $1,735 added to the prize pool. Deeper starting stacks and extra money on the line gave us a slower start than usual with only three players eliminated before the first break. Action picked up after the break with the final table being reached around 10 PM.

Sarah Ca. (Ithaca, NY) grabbed her second cash of the season, finishing in 4th place when her flopped set of Jacks couldn’t hold up against Queen-Ten and she took home $430. Mike Wh. (Binghamton, NY) followed soon behind when his A8 couldn’t catch up to AK, pocketing $860. Mike posted an excellent first season with a win in Game 4, a finish in the money on the season points leaderboard and a cash finish in the Championship Event. Scott Th. (Binghamton, NY) started heads up play with a short stack and despite getting it in good, his K9 couldn’t hold up against 87 suited but he took home $1290 for his first cash of the season. Jim Fa. (Binghamton, NY) was our Championship Event winner, navigating a tough final table with a big stack of chips, picking up his third cash of the season and securing $1755 in the process.
